Class Antibiotic – Aminoglycoside (Broad & Medium Spectrum)
Description Diazepam is a frequently prescribed medication to treat anxiety and stress. In emergency care, it is used to treat alcohol withdrawal and grand mal seizure activity.
Indications
Gentamicin is indicated for the treatment of the following conditions when caused by the following susceptible organisms Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter and Serratia.Urinary tract infections (except uncomplicated urinary tract infections).
Infected burns.
Respiratory tract infections.
Severe systemic infections such as peritonitis and sepsis.
Bone and soft tissue infections including osteomyelitis and wound infections
